Plymouth residents need basic household items, such as kitchen utensils, pots and pans, plates and glasses, towels, twin sheets, pillows, blankets and dishware. We also accept toiletries, household cleaning supplies, and emergency food supplies. We also can accept small appliances, lamps, small rugs, and clocks.
Here are our most pressing current needs:
Food Pantry Items. We depend on community donations to stock the food pantry in the ESC. This food is available for the Emergency Food Bags given to tenants in times of need. Right now we are low on the following items: rice, canned protein such as tuna and ham, canned fruit, cereal, and nuts. Please drop off an item or two if you can (no pun intended)!
Gift Cards. Gift cards from supermarkets, delis, and eateries enable us to plan and serve well-balanced, nourishing and festive holiday meals. Holiday meals are some of the most anticipated and deeply cherished events at Plymouth because they bring residents together in community to celebrate the day and each other.
Inspire Photography. The swift pace of constantly updated technology has left many of us with older digital cameras we no longer use. These forgotten cameras could be the inspiration for a budding photographer living at Plymouth. We are seeking donations of digital cameras for tenants hoping to show their photography in this summer’s art fair. Check your shelves for any point-and-shoots you can part with. Any style/brand accepted as long as it’s in good working condition and includes its charging mechanism. Donations accepted throughout the month of June.

Plymouth’s Essential Supply Center is located at 2121 Third Avenue, Seattle 98121. Donations are accepted seven days a week at the Simons Apartments next door at 2119 Third Avenue.
